Precision seeding for paper chain pots! Our gravity drop seeders are very popular but some growers want the extra accuracy and speed that a vacuum seeder offers. Turn on vacuum; pour in seeds; gently tilt and spread seed over plate until vacuum pressure holds a seed at each hole. Tilt the seeder to collect extra seed on designated side of seeder so that, when inverted, extra seed is held in the lipped trough. Place inverted seeder over a soil-filled and dibbled paper pot tray. Close the valve on the seeder body to drop all the seeds into each paper pot cell.

Choose from 3 seed plate options

Size A (large): best for larger seeds and many pelleted seeds, including: most brassicas (cabbage, broccoli, Kale, Collards, Brussel Sprouts), Cilantro, Beets, Chard, Spinach, pelleted Lettuce, etc.

Size B (medium): good for many smaller but irregular shaped seeds such as onions, leeks, scallions, shallots, fennel, radish, turnips, and basil.

Size C (tiny): used for the smallest seed and some irregular-shaped seed, including dill, arugula, raw lettuce seed, and tiny-seeded brassicas.

Plates can be changed out very quickly. Vacuum not included because you likely already have one…or can get one cheaper than having us buy one and pass it along to you! Vacuum tube adapter included.
