Extra long chain paper pots! Based on customer feedback, a new paper chain pot has been developed with longer in-row spacing. With 11.8 inches between plants, this new paper pot is excellent for various brassica crops (kale, broccoli, bok choi, small-headed cabbages), head lettuce, and more.

These new paper pots are slightly large in diameter, 3.5cm, compared to the other paper chain pots (which are 3cm). They are the same depth: 3cm. That's roughly a 35% increase in growing media volume.

NOTE: With the larger cell size, there are fewer cells per flat. There are 190 cells per trays; 3.5 cm x 3 cm (1.4 x 1.2 inch) paper chain pots with 11.8 inches between plants. Total length of paper chain is 187 feet in the field.

With 190 cells per flat, a different opening frame, dibble board and seed plate is required! Also, to prevent the chain from twisting during transplanting, there is an optional attachment that fits the HP-16 series transplanters.
